1. 1. An adjustable mount assembly comprising a pivot surface; a mount defining a mounting surface carried by the pivot surface for movement relative to at least one of an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis, where the z-axis is the axis of the pivot surface; and a locking mechanism configured to free the mount for movement and to restrain the mount against movement.

An adjustable mount assembly comprising a pivot surface; a mount defining a mounting surface carried by the pivot surface for movement relative to at least one of an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis, where the z-axis is the axis of the pivot surface; and locking means for freeing the mount for movement and for restraining the mount against movement.
3. 25. An adjustable mount assembly comprising a support; a mount defining a mounting surface carried for movement relative to the support; and a locking mechanism comprising a series of stacked washers to free the mount for movement and to restrain the mount against movement.
