Abstract

The present invention generally relates to a stable pharmaceutical composition that does not have a film coating which contains simvastatin, ezetimibe or pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof, and ascorbic acid.

  1. 1. A stable pharmaceutical composition that does not have a film coating comprising simvastatin and ezetimibe, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and ascorbic acid, wherein the amount of ascorbic acid is less than 5 wt % of the final formulation.
