Abstract

This invention relates to purified monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to a Rupestris stem pitting associated virus coat protein or coat protein polypeptide, and methods of detecting a Rupestris stem pitting associated virus.

  1. 1. A purified monoclonal antibody or binding portion thereof that specifically binds to a Rupestris stem pitting associated virus coat protein or coat protein polypeptide, wherein said coat protein or coat protein polypeptide is selected from the group consisting of: (a) a coat protein or coat protein polypeptide encoded by the nucleic acid molecule of SEQ ID NO:10, SEQ ID NO-21, or SEQ ID NO:32; (b) a coat protein or coat protein polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:11; (c) a coat protein or coat protein polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:22; and (d) a coat protein or coat protein polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:33.
